Our Director Steve Salmon

Steve Salmon is in his second year as the front line director for the City of Lights Chorus. He has been working very hard to make us a better show chorus as well as a competing one. He has been teaching us how to show emotion when we are singing; not an easy task when you are working with a bunch of 'older' guys that were brought up not to show their emotions.

Steve has been involved with barbershop since his high school days. He spent several semesters at UNLV taking all the music courses that he could get. Before joining the City of Lights he was a member of the Gamble-Airs and did some time directing when he was there. Steve's biggest love in barbershop is quarteting. He has a very strong lead voice and has been welcomed in several quartets.
